Goals for 2016 – v1.00

0 Posted by - November 18, 2015 - Blog Posts

This is the initial public release of my Goals for 2016. These are aligned with my Vision and my Mission, as laid out in my Tenets.

At the beginning of 2015, I labeled it the year of “becoming fully me” and have been successful in growing into myself and becoming more comfortable in my own skin. For 2016, I want to shift from an internal focus to an external one and label it the year of “sharing what I've learned”.

I don't believe in waiting until the New Year to figure out what you want to accomplish next. In fact – this part of the year, with holidays and family can bring perspective into what is really important and your True North. Some goals also require a mindset shift and making them earlier gives you time to “get there”. Then – by the time January 1 rolls around and everyone is just getting started – you have momentum on your side and can just use that to keep pushing, well after everyone else has run out of steam.

This quote embodies what I aim to achieve:

“Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible.”
–Tony Robbins

I encourage you to make your own version – and you're welcome to use mine as a starting point.

I will continue to revise based on what where I'm making traction and what the fortune brings my way. You can always find the latest version here: My Goals

Lastly – I think a lot about systems and aim to document them in a way that is useful to you. Here's where you can find what I've shared: My Systems
